The Project Manager will respond to customer needs, and be their focus point for any questions and concerns. The Project Manager is responsible for the project performance, customer quality requirements, for the project schedule and budget, the project team and reporting on all aspects of the project performance.
Responsibilities of a Project Manager:
Responsible for the technical quality and commercial success of assigned projects.
Understands customer specifications and objective of the project.
Establish and execute the time-line for the project and adhere to project budget.
Communicating to various divisions in the company and ensuring their understanding of the tasks at hand.
Regular reporting of project progress and status to the customer and management.
Responsible for the design, manufacturing, assembly, debug, try-out, run-off, teardown, shipment, installation, start-up and buyoff for all assigned projects.
Responsible for the delivery of all the as built drawings, manuals, and documentation to the customer.
Conduct project meetings.
Review the overall performance of the project with managers and provide input on improvements for the future.
Responsible for financial tracking, estimating and reporting to management.
Responsible for tracking all project changes requested by the customer from the inception of the project. Must document and ensure all customer changes are quoted and received prior to performing work.
Responsible for all invoicing and collecting payments from customers.
Requirements of a Project Manager:
Four-year engineering degree in electrical, mechanical, or related field.
Four years experience as a Senior Project Manager or Projects Manager, on four million dollar and higher projects.
A drug screen will be required.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Projects), AutoCAD is a plus.
Must have working knowledge of SPC, FMEA, R&M analysis method.
Schedule of a Project Manager:
Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with flexed hours as needed.
