MACOMB COUNTY, MI
LaJoy Group is seeking a temporary Enrollment Specialist working within Macomb County. The position would require travel to client homes throughout Macomb County in order to complete enrollment appointments with new home health care clients and their caregivers. The schedule for this position is flexible based on appointment times, but would range from 20-40 hours per week. This position is temporary and is expected to last through at least the end of August 2019. Mileage will be reimbursed.
Travel to client homes throughout the above-listed counties to complete enrollment appointments (approximately 2 hours per appointment)
Thoroughly explain all enrollment paperwork to caregivers during enrollment appointments
Educate caregivers on documentation requirements, timesheet submission deadlines, reporting requirements, HIPAA, and other training topics
Obtain documentation from all caregivers proving eligibility to work in the U.S.
Audit all caregiver paperwork and ensure nothing is missing, incomplete or incorrect before leaving each appointment
Return all paperwork to the office daily and report daily updates to the division s Service Coordinator and Manager
Processing paperwork (running background checks, entering tax information into electronic payroll system, etc.)
Other duties as assigned
High School diploma or GED
Reliable vehicle, car insurance, car registration, and valid driver license
The ability to work independently
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Previous experience in a health care setting preferred
Previous experience handling tax paperwork preferred
