PLYMOUTH MI, MI
Currently looking for individuals to fill bakery production openings in an industrial bakery in Plymouth, MI. Interested candidates must have stable work history and prior manufacturing experience.
Responsibilities of the Bakery Production:
Must learn and understand all positions associated with the production and shipping of the product
Know and understand Bread Sponge Mixer, Bun Mixer, Extruder, Oven, and Bagger
Ensure proper set up and operation of machines
Ensure quality of product constantly
Perform all quality control checks
Perform metal detector checks
Properly lock out/ tag out any applicable equipment before cleaning
Keep work area clean
Throw discarded product into designated areas
Communicate effectively with other operators and supervisors
Any other duties deemed necessary by supervision
Schedule/Training for the Bakery Production:
12 hours shift, 3 days a week (Saturday, Tuesday, Wednesday AM and PM or Sunday, Monday, Thursday AM and PM)
Friday reserved for overtime as deemed necessary for production.
Must be able to work any of the schedules from week to week.
The typical four-week training program could mean two weeks on days and two weeks on nights or one week on days and three weeks on nights or any combination.
The weekly schedule includes working one shift on the weekend every week.

Requirements of the Bakery Production:
High School Diploma or GED required
Must be able to work in a physical and labor intensive environment
Must have stable work history
Previous manufacturing experience preferred
Must be able to stoop, push, pull, bend and climb
Must be able to list 5-50 lb. Consistently
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Compensation for the Bakery Production:
Starting salary for this position is $18.50 per hour
